According to Micron’s SEQR Environmental Assessment Form (EAF), the Clay project may
have a “moderate to large impact” on five out of the six state regulated air emissions impacts. Of note, they marked that their project “may reach 50% of any of the thresholds” listed including: carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, carbon equivalent of perfluorocarbons, sulfur hexafluoride, carbon dioxide equivalent of hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HFCs) emissions, and methane.
Micron willrequire the following air pollution permits: Title V Facility Permit 10, Stationary Source AirPollution Control Permit - Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA)greenhouse gas evaluation, Stationary Source Air Pollution Control Permit - National AmbientAir Quality Standards (NAAQS), NYSDEC air permit, and the NYSDEC air permit.
