About SustainCNY
Our Origin
SustainCNY consists of local, grassroots organizations who each have some specialty expertise in matters that are part of any community. What we all have in common is seeing the CNY region not just achieve sustainability, but to truly thrive in a balanced and holistic manner. Based on the shared backgrounds of these organizations, a recognized need for educating the public, and the desire to support the positive aspects of the highly anticipated Micron project, the SustainCNY Coalition has been created.
Our Purpose
Our primary objective is to educate people on the facts, issues, and progress of the Micron project including impacts on CNY and the role of government. In that regard, we mainly exist to educate citizens and coalition organizations so they will be empowered to advocate for themselves or join with others to provide appropriate public feedback and input.
